The test day is day zero. The next 30 calendar days must pass in full. A test taken on March 1 could first be repeated on April 1. Count calendar days, including weekends and holidays, rather than business days.
The POST waiting rule applies even if you retest through another agency; a score from a retest inside that period can be invalidated. The earliest eligible date is a rule calculation, not a reservation or guarantee of an available test appointment. Check with the agency or provider before registering.
POST says a dispatcher test score has no statewide expiration date, but individual agencies may require a more recent result or decide which scores they accept. Ask about T-scores and score letters and where to arrange testing.
